You scored as Utilitarianism.

Your life is guided by the principles of Utilitarianism: You seek the greatest good for the greatest number.

“The said truth is that it is the greatest happiness of the greatest number that is the measure of right and wrong.”
--Jeremy Bentham

“Whenever the general disposition of the people is such, that each individual regards those only of his interests which are selfish, and does not dwell on, or concern himself for, his share of the general interest, in such a state of things, good government is impossible.”
--John Stuart Mill

How do some people update this friggin' thing every day? I neither have the time, the energy, nor the interesting-enough life to update the Blarg more than one day a week.

Anyway, I have JUST finished all of my assignments for school. Three more tests, and I. AM. DONE. Now, it's all a matter of getting accepted to university in the fall.

My biggest paper was 17 pages, and 5 000 words long. I'm planning on making it a book. Or something.

I've already ran out of things to say. My life just isn't that interesting.

It's Sad When A Muppet Dies...

So, finally, the Pope is dead.

About fuckin' time.

I love how upset people are getting over this, like it's some kind of BIG surprise to them. The man has been dying for the past few years. He was 84 years old. He had Parkinsons. He had been SHOT IN THE CHEST. The fact he managed to live out the 20th Century, and still kick it for half a decade after, is astounding.

I love how people are also remembering him as a key figure in the "death" or "Communism." In order for something to die, it has to exist first. Meaning, and this will come as a big shock to some of you:

COMMUNISM HAS NEVER EXISTED!

What has existed, is a wide spectrum of "Revolutionary Socialism" and "State Capitalism." Sure, the Pope helped in getting Poland out of the Warsaw Pact, but the USSR was on its way down the toilet already.

How will I remember the Pope? Perhaps, the AIDS epidemic? You know, how he proclaimed that Condoms have microscopic holes in them, and encouraging millions of Africans not to use protection? Good work, old man. Now, Africa is a cesspool of HIV.

Or, how about his contempt for homosexuals? Or women priests? So, he opposed the Iraq War. Good for him. It doesn't, necissarily make him a progressive guy.

And in closing, I leave you with this question: If the Pope was destined for a wonderful afterlife in heaven, why did everyone around him want to keep him alive?

Until Next Time,

AL
